Bidra med feedbackWe're not tea drinkers, but we really loved the Welsh tea service at Ty Gwyn. Camila and her family were so welcoming. And the pastries are not to be missed!
The traditional style Welsh tea shop was fun to visit and see how welsh culture is interpreted in Argentina. The staff was friendly and the food was above all a lot and many very good cakes. Some weren't especially Welsh, but all were delicious especially the Welsh cakes and scenes. We loved the tea cozy. A great place for an afternoon visit, but it was very popular there early.
Came here as part of a group of a ship docked in Puerto Madryn, a bit of a ride, but worth it. This city was originally a settlement of Welch and it holds a lot of this culture. We had served tea and cakes from locals. We were also sung by a local choir song in Welch. It was nice.
This was a stop on a tour through our Viking Cruise arranges a very pleasant stop made even more pleasant by the wonderful staff! I am a 74-year-old child while we travel, I bring a puppet (or two) to improve some of the pictures I take, also tends to break the ice when we meet people. I don't know about the prices because it was a 'included stop', but the food was delicious, but I was there for the fun factor!!
Lovely time in Wales? Went for tea and cakes, we were not disappointed. Great cup of tea, varied cakes and sandwiches. All staff very cheerful, friendly and helpful. A must if you’ve travelled that far. A wonderful experience. Would go again.
