Billow - Gaetz Brook

Atmosphere was cool. The staff who were downstairs at the brasserie were lovely. However I can’t say the same for the waitress working the Billow bar. She was very abrupt and direct about menu choices all around not that friendly. The cook upstairs was very nice though and pulled pork sandwich was delish, the baked beans were very spicy

Best hidden gem in Halifax! Delicious cocktails, full sun and chill atmosphere. Great spot for a date or just to get away from the bustle of the city.

We've been looking forward to going to Billow Bar from the minute we heard Agricola Street Brasserie was going to do barbecue. We've had such great meals there! When we arrived this evening, we were told they can opted to close due to the weather. Too cold, said the hostess. Seasonalbly warm for May in Nova Scotia. I've been colder in the height of summer. No notice on Facebook, nothing on the chalkboard out front. There's no website, so we couldn't have chevaler there. So disappointing.
