Seniors Fish And Chips - Fylde

Went to order chip barm cake charged me £2 for the barm cake and a seperate portion of chips charge me £2.75, was in a hurry so didn’t have time to think and add the 30p ketchup so £5.05 for a chip butty, cost of living now is daylight robbery, would of got a subway if I knew better, no such thing as cheap as chips anymore plus they wasn’t nice at all, sugar coated in salt and vinegar, bread was stale, feeling robbed after a hard days work, wanted something cheap and cheerful, got opposite

The chips are very hit miss these days and today they were bad . I fail to see how a competent fish fryer cannot provide consistently well cooked chips there can be no excuses . Seniors is a legend locally and most if not all the time is excellent todays chips were not up to that standard.

Just avoid this place. Awful dry chips that have definitely been sat for a long time. The fish just fell apart. Worst chippy I’ve had in a long time.

I get that it's good Friday but tonight's food was terrible took seniors 1 hour 20 minutes to deliver my food which I wasn't too bothered about as I know they get very busy but the lack of passion and effort put Into the food was terrible me or my partner didn't even get any full size chips they were all scraps little crappy pieces of chips burnt and hard. The sausage wasn't great either way over done dry hard to eat! This isn't the only time we've been disappointed by seniors we used to go every Friday,however we won't be returning

£6 for small fish big chips can of coke and tub of curry sauce has to be very good value for money. They even serve it in paper containers and so the fried food doesnt sweat and become soggy like it does when served in plastic or polystyrene. The best bit though is that it is tasty. will return.
