Very expensive for average food . £9 for a chow mien ,more vegetables than meat £5.50 for salt pepper chips out pricing themselves.
Have used this takeaway for almost 10years. Never had any issues. Always good food, hot, fresh, friendly drivers, friendly staff.... But! Tonight has guaranteed I will never ever order from there again. I ordered a veggie dish, side of rice, side of chips. Chips, fine, rice fine, main had bits of chicken and pork in! I noticed before I swallowed any. Fine.. Accidents happen. I rang to let them know, hoping for some kind of apology or offer of goodwill. I got told I should have said vegetarian more clearly! .. I was offered a replacement at the end of the night when they 're quiet . I said no, refund instead please. No sign of this, 5mins before closing. So i chased it up, she said we 're busy so refund can wait . She then sent the driver back to refund me, who has the most horrific attitude ever to be honest and made me leave this review. Ive worked in hospitality all my life and know how much damage a bad review can do. But after tonight I need to warn others. He arrived and asked what happened. Friendly enough. I explained. He also told me you should have said vegetarian more clearly then shouldn 't you. She 's not happy I assume she is the manager. To which I said she 's not happy? He said she 's not happy about losing out on money! So, I said I 'm not happy that I ordered clearly, have always ordered the same, no problems, and tonight my food was full of meat. I 'm a strict veggie and haven 't eaten meat for many years. I 'm not happy either He threw his arms up, said what a joke and walked away. I was never a regular customer, I don 't regularly have takeaways. But we always order from here for birthdays etc and spend a lot of money... Such a shame. Mainly a shame that their attitude doesn 't recognise that a polite apology and £15 refund goes a long way.. Instead you 've lost a customer and have gained a very negative review and bad word of mouth.
Food is ok. Just ok. Plenty of meat in the dishes but they all tasted the same. Sent me the wrong soup which annoyed me. Free prawn crackers. They are friendly and it’s handy.
We are vegans so ordered tofu and some vegetable vermicelli, and called the restaurant asking for no egg. The food arrives and I take a bite of the vermicelli to realise I’ve just eaten a bit of meat there was chicken prawns and beef . I’ve just been vomiting for 15 minutes (first time We called to ask for a refund and the food replacing , they said we had to choose and didn’t apologise for their mistake. Put right off my food, disgusted at the service and will never be returning.
