Palheiro Golf Clubhouse - Funchal

Fairways and Greens are ok, generally just accepable. Cart path are in some parts in a very bad condition, which is sometimes difficult and hazardous to drive! the very bad thing are for the carts themself they get many damages because of the bad paths ground. Tee box are in bad condition. the halfway house is recommandable the terrace is nice to have a drink, good vue of Funchal

What a great golf course with incredible views on Funchal and Madeira Islands. The course is in great shape, my favorite part is the back 9 especially with hole 15 and hole 18 where you can enjoy amazing views on the ocean. Moreover, they have an amazing clubhouse with insane views on Funchal and service and food are really good! Especially the Apple Crumble I highly recommend this place for every golfers

Very nice course some stunning land contours to overcome short game need's to be on point if missing greens.putting is still gonna be fun quick sloping greens. Booked tee time no problem quiet morning great even got out a little early no one Infront no one behind. Perfect. Then comes the problem with having a nice big halfway house restaurant accessible from 3 points after the 5th 9th and 12th we decided we didn't need to stop by 7th hole we had court up with another 2 ball but not pushed from behind so held back as much as possible.they stopped after 9 as we got to 10 someone was just teeing off (strange we didn't see them Infront of 2ball) This continued the slowest 9 holes cumulating in 3 groups waiting on tee by the 17th hole in all honesty this ruined it for me having been to Madera a few times and played both course's. Won't be back here to spend €90+ to sit in a buggy for 2 hrs to play last 3-4 holes. Such a shame as course, view's , staff, all great.

Muito decepcionado com o estado geral e não com uma boa relação custo-benefício. Todos nós nos arrependemos de ter levado nossos clubes e certamente os caras que os contrataram acharam que era muito caro. Os bunkers estavam em péssimas condições e estão sendo reconstruídos alguns e os novos tinham muita areia e as bolas simplesmente enterradas. A variedade é muito baixa e até cobrar 5 euros por um balde parecia injusto e poderia ter sido oferecido como um pequeno sinal de agradecimento, já que nós quatro com 2 buggies e 2 conjuntos de tacos pagamos mais de 500 pelo nosso jogo. As vistas em alguns lugares são muito especiais e a vista do terraço do clube é espetacular, mas não compensou o que parecia ser um campo que precisava de muita atenção em alguns lugares. Felizmente, as superfícies de putting eram a melhor parte do campo de golfe.

Excelentes vistas, campo de golfe muito bom, buggy recomendado para os últimos três buracos.
