Bidra med feedbackWe ate this year and last here. the owner is beautiful and really takes care of the food he prepares. they have a small tag menu that they publish on facebook. Typically, three different main courses are offered (last night for example). they offered fish, huh or lasagne,) a suppe and a few starters. they know that eating is fresh when the menu changes every day, and all efforts go into just a few dishes every day. the prices are incredibly reasonable and everything is there. this restaurant deserves recognition and good to do. we will definitely return when next in funchal.
He came to the restorer by chance. thought the dishes sounded interesting and different from normal and we were not disappointed. delicious eating at an incredible price enthusiastic about the owner/cook. we would recommend this to everyone who enjoys interesting eating in a friendly environment...
A Jewel of a find just off the main avenue in Funchal opposite the casino , friendly host, great atmosphere, home cooked food, unbelievable value for money, have been going on all my recent trips to Madeira as the owners Paul and Miguel are friendly,...attentive and offer a fantastic service at an unbelievably cheap rate. The chess board is unbelievable in the amount you get , variety of cheeses and the price , its big enough to be shared by 4 people . I can not praise this place enough. Everyone who we have told about it have come back saying what a great place. Paul Olga Urbanski
I have a table reserved, but it didn't take because we were the only 2 people (a few more came later). very tight on the cheese plate, which shows tripadvisor on the photo. Unfortunately, the owner didn't have it on the menu as he said. he was busy at lunch and he had no left. that meant that the only appetizers were available garlic bread or garlic bread with melted cheese! the dishes of the day (this is the total number on the menu) cost 6 to 7 euro was oktopusreis, roasted chicken or lasagne. we decided to shave the otopus rice as a starter and then everyone had that huh. the meal was ok, but nothing to write home. they did not sell a baked wine and a bottle house wine was 10 euro (except for this type of cafe restaurant I thought). eating, wein and a big beer were 34 euro. would not return.
Very pleasant place leads from marcos, which also makes the kitchen. total value for all round including drinks (generic glass good weines €2.5, balou of beer €1.10) . home made soup €2 main dish €5 with change of menu on Friday always with. a selection of dishes 1x meat and 1x fish. the same menu/prices at lunchtime. only Saturdays in the evening, served tapas and cocktails. not only is it so cheap, but the host is a very pleasant and social oerson. closed on Sunday.
