Cafe Rio - Fullerton

I went with my family. The place looked nice and it was clean. But the food was a hot mess. I ordered the enchiladas and they put it through a bread toaster for like 30 seconds. It does not come out even mildly warm Then the rice was completely inedible. It was practically raw rice and when I told the staff they said it was the only rice they had... Almost every plate comes with a side of rice. I understand now why the place was empty.

Glad to see these places popping up all over California. As a transplant from Utah this is a place i missed once I moved. However, they have a lot of California locations now. My 2 solid go-to dishes are the salad w/ sweet pork or the burrito w/ sweet pork. I have not ventured to any other meat. Serving sizes are large and the house dressing is super good. Give it a shot.

A beautiful alternative to chipotle. several possibilities for meat. barbacoa, shrunk chicken, grilled chicken, bark, carnitas and fish. tacos, tostadas, enchiladas, burritos and salate all fresh made to order for about $10 a dish. good size components. friendly service and clean. back to every case!

Food was good felt fresh, it's an upscale/expensive Chipotle. Be careful the menu looks so simple but almost everything other than chicken is an extra charge. Huge sitting place, employees are friendly and serve the food faster. The food is good nothing over the top to rave about. I'll visit the restaurant just coz ifs closer to campus
