Bidra med feedbackProbably the best Shoyu Ramen in Japan. The shop makes everything itself from the dashi to the shoyu tare to the noodles itself. Even the pork toppings is not run off the mill chasyu it's aged and marinated. Try the ebi shoyu smacks of umami without using MSG, as well as their light, clean interpretation of hakata tonkotsu. A must visit and well worth it.
Surprisingly light broth. We weren't expecting the super rich Hakata ramen soup, so maybe that's why... You also very quickly noticed the fresh in-house noodles. It was ramen #2 for the day and still a little full. My wife was worse off than me but she got the bowl with the added fish and shrimp essence and almost finished all that off too. I must say i preferred the seafood, as well. It was just unique. Would be keen to go back the next time I'm here and try the tantanmen and the chef's recommended noodles. If more in line with the local prices i might be inclined to give it a 5.
Mengekijo Genei is a ramen restaurant that imitates a theater designed by a famous architect Mitsuru Kiryu. It is a popular restaurant listed in the 2014 Michelin Guide Fukuoka · Saga. The open kitchen, which can be viewed from any seat, gives you the feeling of being in the theater. Fukuoka's main restaurant is Tonkotsu Ramen, but there are also Shoyu(soy sauce) ramen and carrier noodles featuring onion oil and shrimp. Noodles are homemade in the shop. Seafood soup is used for the soup of tonkotsu ramen, and you can enjoy ramen full of originality. The recommendation of the store is TKG (egg on rice) which boasts itself as the best in Japan. By the way, Japanese people have no resistance to eating eggs raw.
This is a very unique ramen joint with impressive decor. As the name described, it is a ramen theater where customers are facing the kitchen stage to witness the preparation of their very own bowl of ramen. We have ordered every ramen on the menu and personally I love the shio ramen the most. The broth has so much depth with a strong note of mixed seafood flavor and a touch of soy. The only negative I have is that the broth is a little bit too salty. Rather than that, it was a great experience overall. Oh, and don't forget to get the tamago rice, it is so creamy. The rice is actually a better seller than the ramen.
Friendly and great service! the stage image of the tables directs our attention to the chef. as he empties the nudes from the boiling water, impresses us. we think this action deserves to fit the excellent nudes that are handmade from the shop. we tried 3 rams with completely different suppenbase. the fish soup and the tannin broth suppennudeln with extra cha siu meat are to try. to complete, we try the most expensive, ¥ 1,200 limited time output of miso fish soup with thin al dente nudeln. the aroma of fish and nebel only leave a lasting taste in the mouth and also on the spirit. visit this nudeltheater when they come to fukuoka! very delicious!
