No menu. it is chosen by the owner, but she asks whether they like certain food or not. ber on hahn. no warning of costs for meal times until they get the bill. for two persons, meal every 3 beer 7000yen to give them a rough idea. she offered to drive us back to our accommodation, which was beautiful. hospitality and general experience pushed my rating to 5.

Fantastic quaint local place. As others have posted, no menu, the wonderful owner chooses what they will cook after speaking with you. Food was delicious, great portions very well prepared. We had a fantastic time!

The izakaya next door to this one was closed and honestly I am so happy it was because we went to this izakaya instead. The experience was amazing. Very traditional but very welcoming to us foreginers. The owner said she didn't have an English menu so they just served us course after course of delicious Japanese food. It was the best food experience I've had in Japan thus far! Honestly, it was absolutely amazing. She is my spiritual Japanese mother because she was so sweet and welcoming.

Very friendly excellent service traditional Showa era Izakaya. No menu and ask for general types of foods, the Mama and her son Chef will prepare. Local foods, like vegetables, persimmons, local little fish are served. Some English spoken.

The food is just ok. It would be fine if you would like to try home make style japanese meal. It costs about 3,500 yen per person. It will be a 5 stars if you like interaction with the local owner who is nice lady. Who is very sincere and try effort to communicate with her guess using a machine interpreter.
