Chipriota - Fuengirola

This excellent Greek restaurant happened to be next to our apartment .. and we noticed that only the last night .. The restaurant was fully booked but when we promised to finish our dinner before 10pm we were given a table ! The service was very friendly. When asked for recommendations as I’m not eating meat the waiter told us that their vegetarian moussaka was really good so that was the choice for me and my company ordered ‘normal ‘moussaka. As a side dish I had a Greek salad, the others had rice. All three meals were excellent: just smelting in your mouth ! And not too salty just really tasty ! As starters we had some traditional Greek dipping sauces which were delicious. The service was friendly.

I couldn´t recommend any other Greek. We had the mezedes customised for our veggie friend which consists of a vast selection of starters (hummus, taramasalata, tatziki, the aubergine dip forgot it´s name stuffed vine leaves etc with plenty of pitta for dipping). Followed by a vast selection of mini mains (moussaka, meatballs, chicken kebab, greek salad etc) A genuine feast. Service is helpful and friendly (and speak English too). To top it all off, you can have your coffee cup read, which is mesmerising, if you dare....

A little off the beaten track but well worth a visit! So good went back for a second visit within a week! Probably a little more expensive than surrounding restaurants but has a feeling of upper market to it! I had the halloumi salad to start which was delicious and a meal in itself followed by moussaka! Was too full for desert! Seems to fill up a little later, definitely recommend pre booking!
