Bidra med feedbackThis is where you will find all the cruise ship crew when they have time off. It is directly across from the Puerto Maya cruise ship pier. They cater to the Pilipino, Indonesian, and Indian crew as seen from their menu. Ambiance is nothing fancy, but if you like cheap beers at $10 for 6 cans of Corona and you want to try international cuisine for not much money, this is the place. We have been going to this place for about 15 years. We shared the Indonesian Sambal Babi for $10. It can be very spicy, all the dishes can be very spicy, but just ask for a little spice, no spice, or mild. If you want a culinary international experience in Cozumel and you are tired of eating Mexican food (especially if you live in a state with good Mexican food) this is the place to go. As an added bonus, you will have fun entertainment value by watching the crew enjoy themselves on their time off.
Always make my way here off of the cruise ship when in Cozumel. It is directly across the street from the port. They offer bottled Coronas 4 for $10 and canned ones are 6 for $10. The have free WiFi and the staff are very pleasant. I believe the owner was once a boxer as there are photos of him with younger boxers I assume are from the area. The music is a nice mix of Mexican contemporary, which lends to the laid back vibe. The restaurant is located under a covered area outside, which lends to a nice breeze as well. The food smells and looks food, although I haven't tried it. They serve Mexican, Pillipinio, Indian and Chinese cuisine. All in all, a nice place to come a chill during your time off the boat.
