We had traveled through and on our bike tour in fröndenberg in a hotel. we found the pen cellar in the internet and hoped to be able to feed here as a couple with sohn nicely. outside we were too busy, so we went and sat there first as the only guests. it was a bit dark for a summer night. suitable for the nearby churches stood next to our table a confessional chair.The we looked very nicely for his guests. our special wishes were all agreed, various forms of preparation were offered at the cheese (fresh, panned, omitted). the children's neggets are here crust and are self-made and not from the frozen chest. the salat was delicious fresh, for meat and salad there was still extra sauce from a sauce cooker. the meat was of good quality and perfectly prepared for us. the cheese tasty marinated (was also present the next day...).For the third, we have enjoyed a super-lecker imiserschmarr’n. for such a portion you pay at least twice in the alps on the hut. a real return recommendation!

Great food, very friendly service. beautiful equipment with churches. even a confessional is present. at any time.

We have ordered both white carvings with bratkartoffel and salat. I know the cook is Austrian. at least a look at the menu lets you see this. we were there for the second time and were again surprised. a perfect white carving from the calf. outside crispy with wavy panad. perfect for a good taste. salat was good.Why this restaurant should be too tight or too uncomfortable - as partly written - does not reveal to me. the name indicates a cellar vault. this is it too. with meter thickness outside walls and an absolutely matching antiquated device. I personally evaluate the ambiente absolutely positive.The service was certainly not fast. this would also not fit the concept. butthe service was friendly. also the prices are moderate.
