Disappointing Decline in Service As a disappointed patron of Rise, it is with a heavy heart that I write this review. Once known for its top-notch quality and exceptional service, the recent experiences at this establishment have been nothing short of a letdown. The decline in the behavior of their employees has left a sour taste in our mouths. First and foremost, the main issue we encountered was the consistently rude and unaccommodating behavior of one staff member in particular. It is disheartening to witness a once-friendly and customer-oriented environment transform into an unpleasant one. Our most recent encounter was the tipping point. We attempted to place an order for three dozen cookies with a lead time of 10 days, only to find that Rise was unable to take our payment for the past 2 days. When we finally managed to contact them, we were informed that we missed the deadline by a mere three hours and were denied the opportunity to place an order. In a desperate attempt to salvage the situation, I politely inquired if any exceptions could be made, but to my disbelief, I was abruptly hung up on and accused of being aggressive by a sensitive employee. In an era where numerous alternatives for baked goods exist, Rise has failed to uphold its reputation as a reliable and customer-centric establishment. With so many other options available, it is difficult to justify subjecting oneself to such poor service and lack of professionalism. The residents of Friendswood, myself included, deserve better. It is disheartening to witness the decline of a once beloved establishment. Rise must take a serious look at its current practices and address the issues that have tarnished its reputation. Until significant improvements are made in their customer service and overall experience, I can no longer recommend Rise to anyone seeking delectable treats and exceptional service, as I previously rated this place 5 stars. Let this review serve as both a constructive criticism and a cautionary tale for those considering a visit to Rise. I want to see a Rise in their customer service!

This team absolutely CRUSHED IT when making my order of custom colored cupcakes and cutie themed cookies for my sister in law's baby shower. The cookies turned out even better than the pictures I gave them!! Really remarkable artwork. My ONLY wish is that they made at least one vegan (or at least dairy free) cupcake or treat or something.

The store is cute and the cupcakes are so pretty. Definitely not the best cupcakes I’ve tasted but they are very nicely decorated.

I've been here multiple times over the years. The cupcakes are veryy sweet so be wary. I think some of the cupcakes are a bit dry such as the chocolate chip cookie dough and the coffee one, so I wouldn't recommend those. However I am a fan though of the red velvet and show me the chocolate, I think those are nice and moist. I'm thinking the darker cupcakes are always moist and the white ones are dry. Not sure though. Overall a very cute store and the employees always answer my questions. Worth a try!

They did my cake and cupcakes for my baby shower. They were absolutely delicious. I could pay less at a store to buy a cake and cupcakes but the quality would never be the same. They did the design even better than what I would have expected. Thank you everything was amazing!
