Hugenottengarten - Friedrichsdorf

We where 7 without reservation a Monday evening. Welcome. We have ordered different plates and we don't wait too much. The crowd is huge. About 35€ per person with a starter, a main course and 2 weiz beer. Location is very close to... Mercure Bad Homburg and then it is a good alternative to the hotel restaurant.

Down-to-earth, mixed cuisine, with eastern European influence. Good value for the money, quality very good, service excellent. Wiener Schnitzel the way it is supposed to be, interesting French fries. Would certainly come back when I am in the area.

Great venue, good prices, good food, great staff, loved the Croatian items as they were new to my taste buds; The Phifferlingen were a speciality think from the German woods, small peppery mushrooms or should I say funghi What I didn't like again was the...Trip Advisor's rating for this hotel's food. They need to be a bit more realistic and say up front how few people have rated it and therefore cannot give it a true rating until more reviews have been written about it. The food was certainly good and the prices were reasonable for the food served; but in my opinion this did not and was not excellent.

Very friendly staff. super kitchen. super price-performance ratio... very nice environment
