Bei Iljan (im Deutsches Haus)

Disappointed, the expectation not fulfilled, we love the Mediterranean cuisine and are also always looking for the most delicious grill restaurant. so we have also become aware of the hotel German house restaurant near iljan, and are on a Friday evening with four people, especially from schortens to the friedburg approx. 14 km away. Here we wanted to taste the recommended delicious Balkan dishes in the Balkan restaurant at iljan, sometimes because we didn't know what was expected there at the weekend, we had already reserved a table a few days before. at our arrival shortly after 18:00 clock we found amazed that we were the only guests in the not only small hall-like restaurant. that would have been necessary to warn us about our experiences, but after we had approached this restaurant, we wanted to give the kitchen a chance to pamper us with its specialties. Unfortunately this did not work in agreement, and we will certainly not come back. during our anaesthesia at this weekend were also up to approx. 20:00 o'clock, only two more tables occupied with guests. unusual, but after we had eaten, we also knew why. our dishes after balkanart for €9, was not bad, but nothing special. for example, all kinds of vegetables were not fresh, but from the dosis or from the glass, as we are in the Balkan restaurants where the same dishes are usually ordered, we can compare the quality of food, also very well with each other. I had ordered raznjici, one of the most popular grill specialties on the balkan: there were djuvec rice, pommes and a small salad, for acceptable € 12,50, but unfortunately it didn't taste as good as I did this from other restaurants, tasted. my meats were (not only my opinion,) simply not really spiced (fad,) too hard and unfortunately also not really warm. even the pommes, did not cost us all, as they were just too hard and dry. it rarely happens that we let so much eat on our tellers. but the taste is different and that is also good. we cannot understand the many positive reviews with note 4,9/5 with facebook, with 37 vote results for example. also not that negative reviews are simply deleted there, as a guest wrote there on 11.09 2017. critique for an eternal improvement process, is there on the Facebook page, seemingly simply not desired. very positiw was that for the conclusion of the food from the service we were still exhibited as a small attention, the well-known Croatian liqueur speciality “Julischka”. In summary, it can be said that our expectations were unfortunately not almost fulfilled, so that we are waiting for another one.
