Tamari Robatayaki Whisky - Fresno

I and my wife have to sneak away for a date night and chose this place for drinks and appetizers. Let me have a great choice.. we have the Veggie Roll Spicy, gyoza and shrimp and veggie tempura and we paired it with a Hawaiian ocean and I got the Tokyo and was amazing, the drink was so smooth I would have sated and drink a lot more.

This place was recommended to me by a friend of mine. We sat at the sushi bar because we didn't make reservations. But the service and the food was very good. I can't wait to go back. We had sushi and salmon salad.

Initially I had giving this place a 1 start review. I gave it a second try. This time service was more attentive. Food was delicious and drinks were outstanding. The only thing I should add is that the place is cold. And I get it, u gotta keep the fish fresh but I couldn’t removed my sweater. Overall on my top 10 places from Fresno.

The food was absolutely amazing... however in my opinion there is to much seating for the amount of staff they have on hand. It took 30 minutes to get our first drink. Then another 30 ish minutes to get our food. The staff was really polite and apologetic. They need more staff.
