Standard Sweets Spices (fresno)

I love this place! It never disappoints. The food and drinks are consistently delicious. It's a grocery store with a small restaurant at the back, complete with tables and chairs (they even offer free water, which is a plus). You place your order at the back through a window where you can watch the cooks prepare your food. I once saw them making fresh naan - it's always great to see the food being made. When your order is ready, they call your name and you pick it up from the same window. After you're done eating, you pay at the front register. The staff is friendly, the food is tasty, and the service is quick. I would definitely recommend this place.

The spices and aromas at this restaurant are really outstanding, making it my new favorite spot! The garlic naan is delicious and packed with flavor.

This was my first experience ordering from Sweet and Spices. I placed my order online and got the Goat curry, malai kofta, regular naan, garlic naan, and chicken biryani. The Goat curry was my favorite, delicious and perfectly cooked with just the right amount of spices. The malai kofta was creamy and tasty, with soft koftas in a flavorful curry. The regular naan was soft, layered, and fresh. The garlic naan was tasty but slightly burnt on the bottom. The plain rice was soft and well-cooked. The chicken biryani was spicy (which I enjoyed) but not quite like the biryani I'm used to in India, so I was a bit skeptical. Although it tasted great, it wasn't quite what I expected. I will definitely give Sweet and Spices another try for different dishes.

Nice Indian grocery store with a restaurant and snack shop at the end. The people there were all nice. The food was good but could use a bit more spice. You may want to order things spicy. Their mango lassi and chai were wonderful.

Friendly staff, food is at back of the little grocery store. You place your order, nice simple menu with pictures and prices. You pay upfront at register. Good price and the food was great. I took mine to go, but they do have some tables and chairs to eat there also. Had butter chicken and chicken tikka with order of garlic naan.
