Bidra med feedbackFresno is known for its diverse population, which is reflected in the variety of ethnic cuisines available. Smokies restaurant stands out for its American comfort foods, including brisket, tri tip, turkey, pork, and more. Unfortunately, the restaurant is closing soon, but the good news is that Gregg will still be serving his delicious dishes at Webber near Clinton, behind the Sinclair station across from Vallarta. Hopefully, he will still have his famous cole slaw available from time to time!
I called to inquire if they were open and was told, "Well, we wouldn't answer the phone if we were closed." Very rude. Terrible customer service.
Great Food Friendly Services The Chicken Ribs Need To Be Cooked Thoroughly Needs Black-Eyed Peas Softer Cornbread Though Also Add Grits Peach Cobbler I Know They're Doing Their Best That's Why I Gave The 5-Star Rating Plus It's Awesome To Have A Soul-Food Restaurant
I hidden treasure! Great everything! Pulled pork, ribs, brisket, tri-tip and killer beans! Skip Jack's and McD's! This is way better!
Cool, funky. Indoor seating is gone. Order window facing the parking lot. Two umbrella tables on back, fenced patio. It was just us and the smoker back there. Best side dish was the beans. They had rib meat in them. Greens and potato salad were ok. Green beans not that great. Ribs and brisket were very good. Seems they were smoked, then placed in styrofoam take out containers, then covered with lots of down home bbq sauce. These are the bigger, meatier pork ribs. They brought a pitcher of ice water and cups to the table with a slice of corn bread for each of us in a ziploc bag. Bread was ok, water had an off taste. All in all, we would probably go back now that we know exactly what we want to order. Also knowing what we know, we would get takeout. Recommend you try this place for yourself. We need to support locally owned and run businesses. This one is worth it.
