Zhangfei Hot Pot - Fremont

I had a generally positive experience at this restaurant. However, I believe that for the price, the quality and variety of food could be improved slightly.

The food are fresh and delicious, services are 10/10. The soup base is also flavorful and it has variety dipping sauce. I ordered oysters that are the best I ever get in a Hotpot restaurant, fresh and juicy.

We have been here twice now and it has been a great experience both times. They have 5-6 different vegetarian broths, we have tried most of them, each one is unique. They even give you a small portion of boiling water for the kids to have a hot pot experience. My kids loved the noodles, tofu and broccoli cooked in the boiling water. Craving hot pot lately with the rainy season! Went to ZhangFei on an early Friday night! You can see a steady flow of people in the establishment but not too many where it is overly crowded which was a plus since many hot pot places make you feel claustrophobic !One thing that stood out to me was definitely the cleanliness the sauce bar is certainly constantly tidied up unlike other hot pot establishments !! Food was very fresh !!! Soup was fantastic and let me tell you i tried a few hot pot places so its safe to say it is good as mentioned . To add to that, they do have a side bar with appetizers and desserts ! Love the all you can eat chicken feet, sesame balls and aiyu jelly : Lastly, cant rave enough about the service ! SHOUT OUT to one of the best serving teams ! They are so nice so genuine and willing to help without making you feel uneasy ! Always asking is everything ok and whether we need to top up soup with all that, pricing is also right !MY GO TO HOT POT PLACE FO SHOOOOO

We had a great time at this hot pot restaurant. We tried the house special spicy soup base and sukiyaki, both of which were delicious. The spice level in the house special was just right and the meat was tasty. The mushroom tray was also a nice addition. We would definitely return for more in the future. In terms of kid-friendliness, the staff was very accommodating and helped us find a spot to sit where we could easily park our stroller.
