Bidra med feedbackFirst time here was amazing, I spent $15 for a great meal. Highly recommend and will come back to try the all you can eat
Nice hotpot place is this asian corner of pacific commons. A little different from other hot pot places i've tried. There is an all you can eat option where buffet of items are served on a conveyer belt (pricier than the table option . We picked the table option you have a choice of soup base which has a decent selection like Miso, Spicy Taiwanese, Kimchee etc (We picked Spicy Taiwanese it was great! , and choice of meat, and it comes with a bowl with all kinds of veggies and some seafood. Wait for the hot pot to boil in the stove there and put your meats and veggies in and enjoy! Great for a cold rainy day.
We ordered stinky tofu as an appetizer, along with the Thai Tom Yum pot and a Lam pot. The stinky tofu is truly a signature dish; it has a strong smell, but if you can overlook that, it's incredibly delicious. It reminded me of the stinky tofu you can find in Taipei or Hong Kong. The soups are outstanding compared to my previous experiences—rich and flavorful. I could really taste the difference in the ingredients, unlike at other places where the flavors are muddled. There’s a good variety of toppings to choose from. We opted for the mild spice level for the Thai Tom Yum, but it turned out to be quite spicy, so be cautious if you can't handle heat. The iced green tea pairs perfectly with the soup. Plus, the ordering process is touch-free; you can order online using the QR code on the table.
I ordered a creamy milk soup, but unfortunately, the taste didn’t suit my palate; it had a somewhat strange flavor. I considered asking to change it but wasn't sure if they would accommodate me. In the end, I decided to eat it anyway. I added some ingredients to it, and it turned out quite well—it actually tasted like a curry! The sauce was really good!
For just $23, the unlimited hot pot buffet is definitely worth experiencing. They offer a great selection of seafood, lamb, beef, pork, and a variety of desserts. It's an excellent spot for hot pot. Highly recommended!
