Bidra med feedbackWe arrived around 10am and chose this cafe because they had room for us - others in the area were flat out. We waited quite a while for service, turned out they'd been snowed under & we were the next wave of customers. As an...More
We asked the staff where we were staying in Freo where they were recommending for decent coffee, and they said to go to Stable Hands. We went for breakfast on a Sunday morning, and it was one of the best experiences: food innovative and very tasty, coffee superb, surroundings decor and staff couldn't be faulted.Strongly recommendced - we'll be back.
After reading about this place on some foodies Instagram, we were surprised to see it tucked down a quiet street away from the main Fremantle traffic. It's a beautiful restaurant with warm and friendly staff. The food itself was exquisite, really beautifully played and with the taste to match. Great coffee also! Would highly recommend.
Oh My Gosh... today I found Fremantles and Perth's best kept secret and the most amazing eatery I've experienced in quite some time!!.Heard a whisper about this AMAZING little place in Bannister Street, off the main drag and decided to go check it out for lunch... and here I am right now sitting thinking about going back for dinner to try out some more delightful dishes.Where do I start... because everything was spot on, top notch. Everyone was so welcoming and friendly. Anthony the owner took the time to explain the menu and answer any questions... I loved his passion and the personal attention he gave to every single customer. The building is just gorgeous, characteristic freo heritage, stylish, with a really nice atmosphere and great vibe. The new menu is totally unique and Reece, the Head Chef, needs commended on the inspiring and innovative dishes, many of them using Australian bushfoods and flavours. Presentation was so appealing and the taste... indescribable... mouthwatering and delicious. We had the Octopus carpaccio with pickled tentacles, flavorsome wild limes. mouthwatering fresh ice plant and juicy tender baby pig face...delicious and the best Octopus I have ever had. Then we tried the Kangaroo filet with bush yam puree, warrigal pestu, native bush tomato and a macadamia crumb... sensational. The Kangaroo was so tender...cooked to perfection. We also tried the Carrot varieties with honeycomb puree (indescribably delish), tahini yogurt, nigella seeds... and YES, fresh honeycomb....WOW!!!Now... how do you top that..... with the Greek Doughnuts... Loukoumades with davidson plum ice cream (YUM), a walnut crumb and honey syrup!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!The food is Creative, Innovative and Imaginative. I feel this is truly a hidden gem that everyone should go check out.The 'Cream on the Cake' will be getting their liquor licence. Thanks for an amazing experience ... TRULY amazing..... I'll be back tomorrow to try some more........
