S & T Thai Gourmet Cafe - Fremantle

Thai in WA can be hit and miss, so stumbling upon this place in Fremantle was a pleasant surprise. It may not look like much from the outside, but they serve really delicious Thai food! We visited on a Friday night and decided to dine in. The service was friendly and quick. We ordered spring rolls, Singapore noodles, and stir-fried veggies with tofu. The flavors were amazing, very fresh, and the portions were generous. We had enough food for both of us and even had leftovers to take home. The restaurant itself is a bit plain, but it was clean and cozy. They have all the Thai favorites on the menu and it was bustling with people coming in and out for takeout. We enjoyed the food so much that we returned the following week for takeout – the Tom Yum soup and basil stir-fry were once again delicious, with good portion sizes and speedy service. This is now our go-to Thai spot in Fremantle, and we will definitely be returning!

There was enough food for the two of us and we packed up leftovers to take away.The restaurant itself is a bit bare, but it was clean and comfortable. All the Thai favourites are on the menu and there were a lot of people coming in and out for takeaway. We enjoyed the food so much we went back the next week for takeaway, chicken pad thai and basil chicken - again great flavours, good serving size and quick service. This is my new favourite Thai place in Fremantle and we will definitely be back!

I ordered the red duck curry and basil chili pork, along with some prawn appetizers. All three dishes were very tasty, but the pork was especially delicious.

I had a fantastic meal when dining in at this restaurant once, but the second time I ordered takeout and it was awful. Maybe the chef was not working that day.
