Bidra med feedbackThis place is fantastic! I get the $10 toasted sandwich and coffee lunch special all the time. The sandwiches are delicious and I've never had a bad coffee there. Possibly my favorite coffee in freo. The staff are also lovely and you only need 5 loyalty stamps to get a free coffee.
Unfortunately didnt enjoy Milk Belly Cafe's Rubra coffee at all. It's very weak and taste just like warm milk. Friendly service. Food on cabinet looked good, made by themselves I believe.
Freo's a pretty wild place for a foodie. Milk Belly Cafe joins its brethren as being slightly above the median - a hangout that's nice enough to while an hour or so away while watching the world go by. First up: their coffee. "Locally roasted Rubra coffee" is advertised, and it is solidly in the middle of the spectrum in terms of firmness, warmth, mouthfeel, and really the only reason why I'd even try to verbalize the subjective mystery of coffee tasting is because in this case - it really is smack bang in the middle. Think of the sourest coffee you've had, and the creamiest. The thinnest and the thickest. It's likely that you will place Rubra in the average, in a nice comforting sort of way. We also tried their caramel/honey themed milkshake, the name of which eludes me now - caramel, honeycomb and a cheeky twist of Teddy biscuits. Definitely for someone with a sweet tooth, it wasn't the gut-lining deluge of cream that bad milkshakes are - we quite liked how it played with the coffee. A sip here, a sip there, and we were set to drift through that warm afternoon. One other thing that it has is its location. I am a sucker for alleyway hideouts and shade, and Freo is merciless if you're doing the usual markets/prison/cap strip tour. Here, you can take a break from the UV without feeling like you're copping out. And probably fit a pram there too, but that's not my concern for a long while. Yet, is it a staple sort of place, in the same way Dosukoi or (eye roll) Ciserello's are? Probably not. I'd say it's good enough to stumble upon if you're taking the day off, and is certainly no worse than its brethren along the strip. And considering Freo's high level, that is no small feat. hubpages.com

Definitely, one of the many hidden gems in fremantle. I wasnt looking for anything to eat or drink but got tempted by their milkshake menu. I had the black-forest milkshake while my friend got a honeycomb milkshake. Loved them both! Very filling! ????
