Bidra med feedbackGreat great GREAT coffee. I ordered the flat white and it came with two swans on it! Very cool and I can tell the barista was a pro. The cakes weren’t too great honestly. I ordered the chocolate apple cake, the carrot cake and this cream/berry cake. The chocolate apple one had bits of nuts in it; honestly wasn’t that bad but I just am not a huge fan of dryish cakes and it could’ve used a little more flavor of chocolate but maybe that’s not what it’s supposed to taste like.. not sure. The cream berry one was my favorite; the cream wasn’t too sweet, the berries in the sauce were pretty good (not soggy and a little sweet) and the graham cracker like bottom was buttery, crunchy and sweet. The carrot cake was probably one of the least good carrot cakes I’ve had in my life; it was a bit dry and could’ve used some more cinnamon toe spices. The cream cheese on the top was dry too and not super sweet.
Coffee was exceptional, service was very friendly, cake was great, and it's location hidden along one of the channels on Freising is perfect. It is close to all the main things to do, but still far enough away to enjoy your coffee in relative peace.
Really friendly and fast service, just a super nice place to stop off for a coffee n relax.
Get atmosphere with great coffee and cake. Perfect for light lunches and brunch
In Freising and the surrounding area (100km) I have tried many cafes in the last 14 years. And not for nothing I prefer to go to Junkers Café... Coffee: in addition to the Freisinger Mischung as the basis for Americano, cappucino and latte, there are several other delicious varieties to choose from. Tip: order a French Press to try them out, and if so desired order a second cup for two no problem. Cake: the cake pieces are not only super delicious and special in style, but also served in HUGE pieces. Tip: cake carpaccio, three small pieces to try. Service: the staff is always friendly and customer oriented even in hectic situations that 's how you imagine professional staff in service. Price: the prices are not the cheapest, but in relation to the quantity and quality offered for it, the prices are very fair. Home Office: There is WLAN in the Junkers Café, and during the week you see more and more customers enjoying their home office with a good cup of coffee. The only real downside : Junkers Café is now so well known for its good coffee and delicious cakes that it is sometimes problematic to get a seat on weekends and holidays. Tip: For a visit on weekends and holidays it is best to reserve a table by phone at least two days in advance.
