Bidra med feedbackThe food was ok without being pranging. Did the fish of the day, which was a boiled cod. Don’t taste anything and I should have had a starter too, because with the fish and a dessert, I went hungry from the place. The Son got a good steak and the daughter a fine beef file. The place was nice and the staff comfortable, but for animals food in relation to the level. The rye bread at home was good - and now I am full.
I had high expectations, but the result was average. It was crowded, which uses to be a good sign. The only place to eat was at the bar desk. Food was OK. Starter was tartar and main was medium done ribeye. Starter was good, and ribeye was good till I met a big piece of fat. Undilicious. When finished eating, it took too long time to get paid. I gave a sign that I wanted the bill, was confirmed, and from then it took at least half an hour before I told the bartender to give message to the waitress. Location good.
Still waiting for rest of party to arrive. My simple question to get a table away from the main entrance was met with the request to then finish the whole dinner in 75 minutes. Really? A dinner with with a starter, a main, wine, etc in 75 minutes??! I am standing looking at at least 2 other empty 4 seater tables. The evening starts with suboptimal expectations for the level of service we can expect here. Will follow up with more.
Came here for a birthday celebration with family and all truly enjoyed the restaurant. The food was very good, can highly recommend the ravioli, and the service was very friendly and attentive.
Lovely and full of light the restaurant serves a mixture of classic Danish food and internal café dishes with high quality and very, very reasonable prices. This isn't one of the great culinary experiences of the world, but Madklubben still gets the fifth star for incredible value-for-money and very friendly service. The Caesar Salad is fresh, crispy and accompanied by equally fresh and crispy chicken, the fries are sumptuous, the white asparagus and shrimp cooked perfectly to be tender, but firm. They make Aperol spritzes too, and that is commendable in itself.
