The Palate Restaurant - Fredericton

We discovered this restaurant right after arriving in Fredericton (thanks to a local couple who promised it was amazing), and we were incredibly impressed.

I came across this great spot and I'm so glad I did. They serve the best seafood chowder I've had in a long time.

I absolutely love the food at this restaurant, but I must say that my favorite dish is the Coconut Curried Chicken stir fry. I always order it with extra veggies and extra spicy, it really gets my mouth watering.

The Palate is one of the best restaurants in Fredericton. I always enjoy both their lunch and dinner menu. They have a homemade soup and sandwich special everyday at lunch that are always tasty but my favourite lunch is the stir fry with the coconut curry sauce. For supper the salmon and garlic mashed potatoes are superb. I have tried salmon at many restaurants in both the US and Canada and I haven't found one better than the Palate! Whenever we go out with friends or for work the Palate is our first choice.

My sister and I ate at the Palate for dinner. The caesar salad was good, the chowder was great. The special, lamb sausage creamy pasta was good. The waitress recommended the perfect wine. Nothing to write home about, but definitely don't regret!
