Taj Indian Cuisine - Fredericksburg

This was my first visit to Virginia. I entered the state around 1ish and was already starving from 5hrs driving. Looked up Indian restaurants near me and this was at top. Restaurant has an old school Indian cooking and ambiance to it. Very friendly servers and staff. For appetizer- I had samosa, pakoda and Alloo tikkoi which arrived quickly and was delicious. Had Garlic Naan, Palak paneer, Punjabi dall and my Mom 's favorite, Alloo gobhi for lunch. Rasmali, GulabJanum and a cake for dessert? superb! Large portions too so, lots of leftovers to take home. Parking is no problem, liked how they have outside sitting. Shout out to the chefs- Shashank, Kuldeep Singh, and Charanjeet Singh. Highlyrecommend.

Loved food there. Ordered butter chicken, chicken karahi, bullet naam and tandoori chicken.. Everything high quality and super tasty?will surely recommend. What you pay for you get high quality food.

Just tried this place for the first time today and it was delicious! The woman who was at the counter when I came in to pick up was super nice. I ordered the mild butter chicken and the vegetable masala samosa. Both were delicious! The samosas came with 2 different sauces, i?m not too sure what they are but i enjoyed both. I?ll definitely order from here again next time i?m craving Indian food.

Food is delicious every time we come here. The staff is attentive and gives wonderful suggestions. They have a huge variety of dishes to choose from and the ambiance is lovely.

Food was a complete 5 starts! Everything we tried was very delicious. The only reason I’m giving it four stars is the service. The server wasn’t talkative and didn’t really make you feel welcomed, didn’t really talk to you. But, it was also not his fault. The place was busy and they only had one server working the whole restaurant. They definitely need more employees. Would I go back? Absolutely! Food was delicious.
