Pimenta - Fredericksburg

We recently visited a bustling Jamaican restaurant known for their authentic and delicious freshly made dishes. The customer service was genuine and friendly. Ato Williams, our host, server, bartender, and Frontend Specialist, impressed us with his awesome service on both of our visits. Despite juggling multiple roles, Ato was pleasant, hardworking, and always happy to assist. His friendly demeanor enhanced our dining experience.

I had been eager to try out this Jamaican restaurant in downtown Fredericksburg for a while, and I'm so glad I finally did. I enjoyed the atmosphere, especially with the reggae music playing in the background. I decided to try ox tail for the first time and was pleasantly surprised by how much I liked it. The jasmine rice and fried plantains were also delicious. I also tried a pineapple soda, which was a nice refreshing drink. I hadn't planned on having any alcohol, but my friend and the bartender convinced me to try a drink called the Grinch that the bartender had just come up with.

I ordered catering for my husband's chef reception and got Jamaican patties, jerk chicken wings, oxtail, and rice and peas. The food was absolutely delicious! The flavors were just right and the oxtail was so tender it fell off the bone. The portions were generous and the price was reasonable. The customer service was excellent and I will definitely be returning. Thank you for making my husband's special day even more amazing with your delicious food.

Food: 3/5 Service: 2/5 We walked in before the evening rush when there was barely anyone and had water served within a couple minutes. After that, we were left waiting to order our food and to ask for recommendations. Overall, our dine-in duration for a sandwich and two appetizers took over an hour. The food portions weren?t fantastic and the flavors were iffy. The manager was more eager to seat people and serve them water than to help the staff out in serving the

Absolutely loved the curry shrimp, cabbage and rice and peas. This was our first time here and it was Delicious. I do wish they were not out of some of their items that were on the menu though.Food: 5/5
