Bidra med feedbackBest smoothies, awesome food. Short on vegetarian items but they can customize to remove meet from other food menu. We ended up overpaying for kids smoothie, just ask which options are available for kids as it is not specified.
I came in 05/14/2022 craving a smoothie. At first everything seemed chill and nice until we got our smoothies. Keep in mind, I understand that every tropical smoothie location is different but the menus are still all the same. I order a jetty junior and it was underneath the ?line?. The cashier said that they use the same measurements for all smoothies but me personally working at a different tropical smoothie location currently, I know that if the smoothie comes out way below the line you should add more ice to fill it. Then I got 2 beach bums which only one of them was filled perfectly and the other was very under the line as well. Our beach bums (w/ white choc dark choc) didn?t even taste like the regular drink but more like strawberry. Having to see what the cashier put into the blender, I can say she didn?t do it correctly either. My family and I weren?t going to make a fuss about it because it was a long day and we just wanted to get home. I noticed that once we left she stared at us knowing that what she served and how she left us was unacceptable but didn?t try to help. Safe to say for the first time visiting a new tropical smoothie in Frederick, my family and I will not be returning again.
Don't ever accidentally place an order at the wrong location because the app selects another location but be standing at this location and expect to get help. I placed an order in error with the other Frederick location while sitting in the parking lot of the Urbana location and called Frederick urgently to advise I did so and then went into Urbana location to see if they could honor it since it was only one smoothie and they said I would just have to drive to the Frederick location because apparently they already made it (after asking Frederick not to make it). So knowing that they weren't able to just honor the purchase and understand that I did that in error because the app automatically selected the older location in Frederick, instead of the newer location in Urbana after showing my confirmation number and proof of payment. Very frustrated and also their customer service contact is non-existent due to having to send a email, instead of being able to call someone. Very disappointed!

Excellent smoothie's wide variety. Cafe food was delicious as well. All of it was freshly made. The interior and exterior were extremely clean. Lots of help so never wait more than a few minutes. You can eat in or take out. All employees are well trained, friendly and helpful. Everything is handicap accessible. Restrooms are very clean as well. Plenty of parking around the building.
