Bidra med feedbackThis was hands down the best sushi I’ve ever had, both in taste and presentation! No sushi I’ve had anywhere else since has been the same My standards are forever raised.
We've eaten at Sapporo ii a couple of times and were so impressed with their sushi that we scheduled our wedding anniversary dinner at Sapporo ii and tried the Omakase (a 10-course sushi and 6-course kitchen dining experience). It was incredible!!!! We lived in Seattle for two years and have had some of the best sushi in the US in LA and Seattle so our expectations for freshness are very high and I often find that I do not agree with people in the DMV about where to find good sushi. Every single plate we received during the Omakase dinner was beautifully crafted and artful. Temperatures were always perfect (cold, warm and hot wherever ideal). We got one dish that arrived *on fire* and I could not have been more excited to try such delicious and unique sushi and cooked fish.Halfway through our meal the chef began asking what we love most, what we want to see next, etc. They began custom tailoring the next dishes to our taste and it was perfect. The drinks were tasty and I had a wonderful time here.The service is good here but the ambiance is a bit stark so it's not the most romantic place to come. That being said, we thoroughly enjoyed sitting at the bar, watching the sushi chefs and exploring the food they brought us. I want to do it again!!!
Our experience at the downtown Frederick place was a nightmare—the service was beyond terrible, and the food arrived ice-cold! Everyone in my party ordered at the same time and one of us got our food and the other was waiting for another 30 minutes. The server never checked on us not once. It's the epitome of the worst dining experience, and I won't be returning.
Delicious Japanese food. Robot delivers drinks to group tables. Parking is tricky but there are a few inexpensive parking garages within walking distance.
The sushi here tastes amazing and their spicy edamame is to die for, but it really seems like they're understaffed because we waited over an hour for our food and the restaurant was not even busy.We were offered ice cream as an apology for poor service and we initially accepted, but ended up declining it when they told us it would be another 10 minutes, but it ended up being another 20 minutes. We cancelled the remaining sushi that still hadn't arrived after waiting an additional 5 mins including the previous 20 minute and requested a discount, which they agreed to.
