Bidra med feedbackScotties Garage is a live music venue open Friday and Saturday nights and Sunday afternoons. It is primarily a 'biker bar ' frequented by motorcycle social groups and those with association with that community (No, not your Son 's of Anarchy stereotypes. Don ' 't let this deter you as the management and crowd are accepting of all and will welcome you with open arms. Possibly the most inclusive venue you will ever find. You will not be judged there. Drinks are cheap and bar style food is available, just don 't arrive expecting a sit down three course meal. It 's Hamburgers, chips, dim sims and the like. This is a very casual environment. The Management are possibly the friendliest you will find and their goal is for the venue to be 'like turning up at a mates party. ' The clientele are more likely to throw a hip than a punch (although don 't push it as it 's certainly not a venue for teenagers, not that they wouldn 't be welcomed. Just saying the average age would be 45 60 year old Baby boomers. A relaxing and refreshing experience. PS: Don 't wear a suit, you 'll be welcome but you will feel out of place. Casual is the order of the day... Leather optional :
I went to this restaurant today to see a band play. I ran into one of the musicians who I hadn't seen since high school, 53 years ago. I was expecting a typical music venue, but it turned out to be a biker hangout. I felt a bit uneasy at first, but the atmosphere was lively and the bikers were friendly. Overall, it was a fun afternoon, despite standing out in my Snow White t-shirt among all the leather-clad bikers. Luckily, Snow White was armed with a shotgun.
