Chef Gigi's Place - Franklin Square

Even though this Italian restaurant is a little further out, The food speaks to my heart. The orecciette alla barese was wonderful. I loved the pasta broccoli rabe. The sausage was spicy but it worked. I should've ordered garlic bread with it. This won't be my last time ordering from there.

Delicious!! Will probably pick up next time since it arrived cold but will be a repeat customer

The pizza was fine but I ordered an San Benedetto Italian Iced Tea (Peach) and they gave me brisk lemon iced tea. if they were out that's fine but the cost difference is 2 bucks. a can of soda is 2 and that's what I got a can of brisk

Margherita pizza was disappointing. Not much cheese. It was mostly dough with sauce and a couple of plops of cheese

Heard good things so I gave them a try. Not disappointed in the least bit! I just got a pizza but other stuff looked good as well. I'm a hard grader and I'd still give this a high score! Can really taste how fresh the ingredients are. I'll definitely be back!
