Meat is, as could be expected from a restaurant adjacent to a butcher, amazing. Ambiance and service are very good as well.

Touring Sacksenhausen on foot is wonderful but at some point, lunch was in order so we saw a lot of locals filling up plates here and sitting at tables outside in beautiful September weather. So we joined the fast-moving line and were paired with a nice English-speaking server who helped us assemble platters with 4 types of shrimp. Simply delicious and for only EUR29.

Meyer's is our weekly stop for meats, bread and appetizers. They have a very attentive staff and their foods are always fresh and tasty. It is not a place to shop if you are on a budget but the prices are fair for what you get. They also have hot foods for a quick lunch and tables out side to bring your food to.

To tired after a chilly day of sightseeing. We stopped here and got half a roast chicken which they offered to warm for us and a few small containers of veggie and potato salad.All was delicious and just what we needed . Friendly staff explained everything that we weren't sure about ordering

...since Ploeger's moved to Vancouver...feel pretty well at the Fressgasse outlet, enjoy their restaurant there. Sandwiches and salads are fantastic, as well as their desserts, ham and typical German Wurst and bread specially made for them.
