Taj Tandoori - Frankfurt am Main

Definitely among the top 3 best indian restaurants I ever tried. So delicious. The naan bread was only so so though. Would definitely return.

We were in Frankfurt for 5 days in june. 3 days we dinned here. The food is simply fantastic. It was too good, comparable to any of the best Indian restaurant. The staff specially Galib and sandeep goes out of there way to serve the guest. The food we tried were yellow dal, matar paneer, channa masla, rice, tandoro roti and in deserts Kulfi and vanila with mango a must try. Thanks team Taj.

My husband and I had a very enjoyable dinner here for our last night in Frankfurt. We thought we might need to make reservations, but it wasn't so easy to do online as website not in English, but decided to just walk there and they got us in early on a Friday night. We had Indian food during the last couple weeks in London and Paris and this was comparable for curry and 2 kinds of naan that we like best, though I would have liked a little more garlic flavor in the garlic version.

I eat at a LOT of Indian restaurants - all over the world. Just spent a week in London, visited many top ones. Never, EVER had better Indian food, anywhere in the world for my taste. Awesome.

Wer die Küchen Indiens liebt, leidet unter der Vielzahl unterdurchschnittlicher Lokale. Um so mehr ist es zu schätzen, wenn sich hier und dort ein Restaurant diesem Ausverkauf entgegenstellt. Frankfurts Tandoori Taj gehört zu diesen erfreulichen Ausnahmen. Sein Besuch ist zu empfehlen. Die Preise sind vergleichsweise hoch, aber sie werden durch die Qualität der Produkte, der Speisen und des Service gerechtfertigt. Entschieden zu kurz kommt vorerst die vegetarische Küche Indiens. Deren grosse Zeit liegt wohl noch vor uns. Viel zu lang, wenn nicht gar überfüssig, ist dagegen die Weinkarte, weil nur wenige Gewächse mit stark gewürzten Gerichten gut zusammengehen.Gherardino
