Bulli Burrito - Frankfurt am Main

It is Friday afternoon and the offers of the canteen are even more deterrent than usual. A good time to take the Mexican Burrito shop right around the corner. From the outside, Bulli Burrito looks as I imagine a Mexican snack, very colorful! There are colorful teeth hanging everywhere, on the small terrace there is a table with 2 chairs, otherwise there are pallet tables and pallet benches. For a gringo like me, the interior also feels quite authentic, mexican. Decoration is sufficiently present, has almost not been exaggerated. On the right hand there are a few seats, on the left is the counter at which you place your order. The offer is on panels on the wall and there are also individual flyers with the available offer. Drinks are available in a refrigerator right next to the counter for self-service. For a restaurant, the ambience would be rather mauous than snacks. At the order booth I was lost. There are 3 basic variants for which you can combine your food. Burritos, i.e. fladen bread, in which the ingredients are wrapped in a Greek pirtta. Taccos, these are crispy hard shell-like shaped corn flakes, into which other components are filled. Salates that are on the map as ensaladas. You can also get a bowl with filling. As a standard filling in the program are rice, beans, cheese, sour cream and salsa, where you can choose between a green slightly sharp and a red sharp salsa. Additional ingredients such as chickens, pork or guacamole are available at an additional cost. After a short discussion about the sharpness I ordered a burrito with chicken meat and guacamole as well as a Coke Zero together €9.40 The Lord behind the counter then dressed up gloves, buk the tortilla in a special grill and then began to spread the ingredients on it. In the back of the head the question of where the ordered meat remained. It quickly became clear to me that the teaspoon was full of fine-fiber mass, which just walked in front of my eyes on the Burrito was probably that meat. The burrito was rolled, wrapped in aluminium foil and placed in a plastic basket with plastic foil and equipped with a napkin. For payment, the employee pulled out the gloves again, exemplary. Fortunately, not much was going on outside, and the only normal table was still free pallet furniture is not so my thing. I haven't seen any cutlery, but for the Burrito it is not the appropriate consumption variant as the salatesses make, I don't know. But now, as the most important, how does a Burrito taste like that of Bulli? My answer: Boring! Schlabbriger Reis, a few tasteless beans, chicken in homeopathic dose and a salsa that is so mild, almost taste-neutral, that my youngster could eat spoons without problems. The enveloping tortilla was not really a taster, so I came to the conclusion that I had eaten my first and last burrito. Conclusion: Lovely canteens again:

Very delicious, authentic Mexican cuisine. In summer you can sit outside and enjoy the evening at a Burrito or at Tacos. Rightly won the Cable 1 restaurant test.
