My husband and I started our Italian holiday here and although it was the off season so many restaurants were closed we had a great 5 night stay at this hotel. The location is wonderful. Right on the beach but only a 5-8 minute walk to the train and either all the cinque terre towns 30 min , St. Margarita/ Portofino 35 min or Genoa 1 hr . The hotel has an elevator and our room had a small balcony so we could watch the changing Mediterranean. Breakfast includes coffee, juice, eggs, cereal,rolls, yogurt and fruit- you choose any from a menu ; and they were very accommodating of my gluten allergy- they bought rice cakes for me. Our server Sonia was a delight- she was very friendly and gave us great suggestions about things to see and ways to get around. WiFi is available in the room and since parking is included you can just leave your car and take the train to wherever. We found the bed to be comfortable and the room was very clean. The only down side is that the bathroom is a little small maybe 1.5 ft between sink and tub and our room #10 didn't have a shower. You had to sit down in the tub and use the hand held shower wand. If you try to use it standing up water goes all over because they isn't a curtain. This is a very good place for the price!

Foodnwas really good...like most travelers we forgot about the seating charge and was quite surprised when our bill arrived. The wine was especially expensive.
