We had this eggplant that was charred, shredded beets and carrots, sweet rice pudding called Khir, tasty lentil soup called sambal, fluffy and tender basmati rice and the best Garlic Naan. Of course we started with the veggie fritters called pakoras. They were perfectly friend and made of chickpea flour and it was so freshly prepared and crispy. We polished off the generous meal with chai and mango lassi. I can speak highly enough of the chill ambiance, the attentive wait staff and the hospitality. The owner was cordial and very welcoming. Greeted us with a smile and even sat down on the floor with us to say hi. Such a warm and loving place. Super chill too. Saw the dinner rush crowd come in. There is live kirtan here too. Love the vibe!
Tika is awesome. I have eaten at a lot of Indian restaurants and this food is by far the best I have ever had. Flavorful and fresh. The atmosphere is so inviting. Great prices! You much come by while in Tulum! :
Durante mi visita a Tulum comí en Tika en tres ocasiones y me gustó mucho, se los recomiendo.
Best curry we’ve had on our 6 month South America trip, go for the butter chicken and garlic naan staff are amazing and very attentive. Thank you
This was the best Indian food I have ever tried, and I have tried a lots of them in a different countries and in India as well. The dishes had several layers of wonderful taste, changing in your mouth. The salt lassi was exceptional and the mango curry surpassed my expectations! Fresh and cooked with love. You can feel it. Definitely the best place to be if you are Indian food lover. Thay also have curry happy hour till 18h, a combo of delicious curry sauce with your choice protein added and rice or naan. I will definitely come back to Tulum and one of the reasons will be this restaurant
