Country Kitchen - Fouriesburg

Nice restaurant with terrace vis a vis the church. Too extensive menu (difficult to have everything fresh) but several interesting and unusual options. I chose the burger which can be composed individually and that in essence was a good choice. Presentation and food quality varied slightly. Sauce looked chunky but was good, bacon was cold. But beef and fries were excellent well done, kitchen team. Special praise to my waiter Patrick, who was very eager to make my experience perfect.

Lovely setting, beautiful and well maintained outside garden perfect for kids to play in (bringing your own toys/activities). Friendly staff. The waffles were a 5/10 which was a little dissapointing for the price being quite a lot higher than most places. But enjoyed the scenery and peace of the yard. Would likely only return for drinks as the food prices are above average.

Great service very friendly!!! First time ever in Fouriesburg. Would recommend the restaurant to everyone. Preperation of food takes a while but it is worth the wait!!!!

The restaurant has a nice ambience and even though the server was run off his feet he provided a good service. The inside of the menus do not combine well with the cover of the menu and general decor. The trout was overcooked and the bobotie tasted like something a canteen had prepared. Their desserts however were delectable especially their Belgian waffles.
