Fortune Cookies - Fountain Valley

We use to frequent FC precovid for special family events. It's been awhile but today we had lunch and were quite annoyed by dirty glass front doors, debris on entrance floors, stains on face of reception counter, and cracked wood ceiling decor. As they just opened hour earlier, location did not seem sanitary. We were seated and menus provided. The table was sticky and menus were not clean feeling. Service was acceptable but the food quality was not what I remembered. Pad Thai was soupy and not even close to proper spiced flavor. The Lomein, shrimp, tofu and fish dishes were generic tasting with small plate portions. Sadly disappointed. Adam's Review two months ago stated location was shabby. No improvement and reviews are apparently not reviewed by manager.

Previously they were really good to give you four or five noodles with your dinner, and there were earlier these bamboo pieces of food in the Kung Pao chicken now it is all onions and you get to put half a bag of noodles in your food, although they promise that they used you more to be great now not so much now

A friend ordered food for us to supply and ordered extra for other meals and what we ate last night was not good at all. The sushi rolls weren't fresh. Beef and broccoli, beef was hard as beef, which was the same with beef in fried rice. Called Fountain Valley situation to complain because we've been going there all the time and never had a problem. Because the food was ordered by the door, the person who answered the phone wouldn't do anything! I said you lost loyal customers now and he hung up on me! Really poor customer service. Very disappointed.

Looks good, good service. Food tasted very bland. Ordnete the pad Thai, it was a little sweet and no other flavors. Portions were at least decent.

This place was pretty good, I had it a long time when they opened, and my grandma and I decided to give it another try. We ordered the temporaries and a few dishes. The tempura was pretty good, but a little soft. The real star was the chef special beef. It was tender and delicious. I would recommend this place alone. The interior was also cute, but needed some spruce. The staff was very friendly and answered all our questions in a very friendly and scientific way that made us very comfortable
