La Tete Noire - Fougères

Here for lunch after the visit of the castle. it was one of the few places where someone actually sat, so the decision to eat there. eating was acceptable, absolutely nothing to be excited, I had the steak hache with chips and. my wife had the Italian salate. the local desserts (verrine bretagne) were very mediocre, which summarized the overall experience quite well. perfect enough if they only have to eat, but that's it.

Had a cod filet full of bones served with fries that I could squeeze out and my car could burn!

We stop here for lunch and do not get a good word to say that fries were a terrible dark brown and obviously cooked several times and tasted by old oil and the cheese and sink toastia tasted bad and the glass wee...ordered tasted as if it had been opened for a day or two, I would not recommend to eat there.

Very french, lunch on a place with a fountain and no traffic. warm day perfect setting, good eating, fast friendly service to cheap trips. crouque monsieur served with frit and salat was tasty and very decent coffee. Delightful way to start the empty areas.

Went there for a quick lunch. We both had plat du jour and where pleasantly surprised how nice it was. The service was fast and efficient. The toilet could be improved and made easier to find. It was excellent value for money as well.
