Abc Seafood Foster City

We went specifically for live seafood as we have had it before and it was amazing, but they had absolutely nothing in the tanks. The service was ok. They forgot one of our drinks, and were not especially friendly. The food was fine, but we've had better for cheaper.

The services is the worst. From checkin the waitress has an attitude for not giving me the table while half of the restaurant was empty. I argued with her so she reluctantly gave me a table in the corner. You can hardly find a waiter or waitress there. I have to collect our dirty dishes to another table to make space for ourselves. Other waitresses saw you and ignored you because they are busy talking to their regular patron. Our table has 13 ppl. We over order so much food that we have to pack to go. I asked for some flat togo box and she asked me to pay .30 cents each. Our bill was over 250.00 and that was the type of services you will receive in that restaurant. They ran out of turnip cakes and some other dishes (yum cha) at noon. At 1pm, there were barely 4-5 tables left. Business is suffering from all these terrible service from these waiters and waitresses who are there for years. And send like the owner doesn’t care and let them run the show.

I would recommend for the food but not the service. The level of anger from staff or requesting basic things like soy sauce and tea without backlash of them rolling their eyes at you is painful--this happened with a few waiters and this was after waiting for a long period of time. If you don't mind horrible service but good food, then go to the restaurant.

Authentic dim sum. Fairly large assortment. Most staff friendly. Definitely worth visit for dim sum or other lunch/ dinner.

This place is very outdated and not appealing. The waitress spoke so fast we had to ask her to repeat herself multiple times. The liquor options were also very limited. Not a warm, comfortable environment.
