Bidra med feedbackNormally it's one of our usual go-to's. This last trip was vexing. After exceptionally poor service the wife and I both agreed a tip was not appropriate. Get to the counter to pay and was asked you shure you don't want to add a tip to which my wife replies, no thank you. Counter lady replied oooo a crabby one today. Then asks me the same thing. I simply reply no. And again accused of being crabby. To be pressed twice for a tip and accused of being crabby when the waitress never stopped to ask how the food was. Never refilled my coffee. Never brought the boxes we flagged her down and asked for twice then waited ten more minutes for the bill? If we were crabby I think we had every reason to be.
Food was good. I ate leftovers and they were good as well. Service was best sue was great.
Home Run Inn is a great place for a traditional diner experience. Stopped in with the family for lunch. You can eat at the counter or enjoy your meal at a table. Stephanie is an awesome server, she been there a while and knows us by name. The owner Vicky is also regularly in the background making sure you have a memorable visit. They have a large variety of food choices. Breakfast is served all day and waffles are made to order. Something delicious for everyone. Had the huge turkey club for lunch filled with chunks of turkey and crispy bacon. It comes with their signature seasoned fries. Took half the sandwich home but I ate all the fries, every last one. Keep the coffee coming. Parking: Ample Free parking on site. Kid-friendliness: Kids menu with several tasty options.
The cabbage rolls are a must try! I go on Saturday for the chicken and dumpling soup, now I go for the cabbage rolls as well! Very tasy. Our dessert was delicious as well as a great presentation! It was the banana strawberry delight and it was just that, delightful!!! 10 out of 10 definitely recommend!!
