Blutes is a very funny and also very popular karaoke bar and for good reason! The karaoke song selection is made by CrowdDJ, which means there is a really great selection of songs to choose from, and a variety of tracks that perform people. People tend to dance near the karaoke playback for and with the performers, and I have never seen anyone boo’d or heckled while on stage, before the place tends to win friendly party people who promote the same environment! I often go to the valley and it is definitely one of the more fun bars to hang out. According to other reviews, I think people forget that of course a really popular bar, the queuing karaoke has a long waiting list, especially on Fridays and Saturdays. But every time I was recently, the karaoke host in service has reminded everyone in the room that they should come, let the host know if they wait to sing for a while, so the song may be beaten up. Many songs are frightened and then may be claimed by people who have not frightened them, or by people and groups who have interrogated several songs at once so that every friend in this group turns singing. There is no real way for the host of the police, especially when the bar is crowded and the people constantly come and go, but I have found that if I waited a while because the song backup, let the host know how long I waited to sing can help them give the reason to give you up. I have always found the karaoke hosts really nice, even if it is really busy and sometimes loud! The bartenders in blood were always really sweet, though sometimes really busy, while they also need to navigate a rather crowded narrow space. I no longer had to wait for a drink at Blutes when I was in another club or bar at Brunswick Street Mall. I have seen some reviews here that some of the bartender disparaging and I really never had a bad experience with each of them. They were never rude or particularly slow to make a drink, and they have always tried to help people as fast as they are reasonably from what I have seen. Again, not worse than any other place in the valley. Anyway, the best place in Brisbane to sing crowd friends and enjoy the talents and charisma of strangers, catch me there to sing Come On Eileen.

Blutes is a great place to sing karaoke before a lot and your mates while a chilled bev in the valley. Staff are cool, special screams after Anika, who was friendly and welcoming.

A+ service from the bar staff, a great relaxed vibe for some good ol karaoke and reasonably priced drinks. We checked in for a few hours earlier in the afternoon and were let back in later on for karaoke without needing to pay the cover charge which was greatly appreciated and launched us into another 2 hours of shots and rounds for a great end to our night.
