Takara Japanese - Fort Worth

The only decent thing about the restaurant was the atmosphere. The sushi options were minimal and average. If you don't like sushi with a lot of mayo, half of the limited choices are off the table. The customer service was okay, but not very professional. The overall experience was disappointing. A big concern is that the plastic lids covering the plates on the conveyor belt are not cleaned properly. They are wiped down in a corner with a rag, which is concerning. They also left stacks of dirty lids on chairs where people sit. Just a warning for those considering dining there. We did not feel good after eating at this restaurant.

I decided to stick with Japan House for a sushi buffet instead of trying this place. It was a disappointing experience as they forgot many of the items we ordered and mixed everything together in a confusing way. The service was slow and unorganized, with long waits for orders and drink refills. The servers seemed overwhelmed and didn't even know what they were serving. Additionally, they seated us in a dirty area that required us to take off our shoes, which was unpleasant. The sushi was average at best and overall, I do not recommend this restaurant. I will not be returning.

The sushi was not good. The tablet menu was not helpful. They got my order wrong because people these days aren't taught math in school.

Good sushi and excellent staff atmosphere. We had a wonderfully relaxing weekend lunch.

Everything was done well and served in a timely manner. There is a great selection and each meal was delicious. The drink at the end was especially interesting.
