Nana's Kitchen - Fort Worth

Im not one to usually write reviews, but I definitely dont recommend this damn place. First off I drove from dallas to ft worth because I saw this place on Mr. Chimetime. The fried fish he had on the review video looked fresh, hot and full of juices. So I wasnted to try it. My wife and I made the 50 min drive just to have to wait a hr and a half for food that was COMPLETELY cold when we got it. We ordered the fried fish and smothered pork chops. I ordered the food at 2:10p, and I even gave them my phone number and the type of car I was driving. I waited until 3p to go back in and find out why we hadn't received our food, even though we were in the parking lot watching people, who came after us, get their food. When I came in, they told me my food wasn't readyand to wait 5 mins, and they would bring it out to the car. A young lady followed me outside to ask me what I ordered and SHE WAS THE ONE THAT TOOK THE ORDER. I wanted til 3:23p, and my wife went in to find out what was going on, because now she's tired of waiting and we have a 3 yr old crying in the backseat. She gets in there and the food is on top of the shelf and had been waiting. She brought the food to car, even though they were supposed to when it was ready, and everything was cold. I took the food back in, and not ONE person had good customer service. No we are sorry, no we apologize and no reason to why the food is cold after we had to wait for almost a hr and a half for food. They just said you want a refund or want us to remake it. No empathy or nothing smh. They just grabbed my debit card and told me it takes 3 to 5 business days to receive my refund. Evern after all of that, still no we sorry for inconvenience or we will do better next time. Nothing. I was ready to see how good it was, and I was gone even come back. However, after this experience, they wont ever see me again.

I’ve been following nana on IG for a while and finally decided to give it a try. I got the rosemary chicken, Mac and cheese, greens, and sweet potatoes. The chicken lacked flavor and I didn’t finish it. The Mac and cheese and greens were just ok. The best thing was the sweet potatoes. The cornbread was dry as well. The setup was very weird to me. It was a tiny space where you place your order and have to wait in your car. I will not be returning.

They were recovering from a fire, so there was only.take out. But the foodTasty and the portions were enough for 2 meals for me.I wil go back for sure when we can dine

Mmm maybe I’m biased because I know what good food taste not tryna be funny or nun but the macaroni don’t even need to be on the menu it was extremely nasty worst thing that has ever touched my mouth the chicken tenders were very good though real tender and crispy I personally don’t like the people who work there it wasn’t very welcoming to me everyone had an attitude

Didn't get to try the food. Ordered my food they told me it would take 20 mins. 30 mins later no food I kept seeing people get there food in their car that had arrived after me. A young lady came to the car and said my food had been given to someone else and they were sorry and they could cook me some more. I said ma'am I'm going to have to wait another 30 mins for my food. She said we can give you a drink and a dessert for the trouble. I said no thank you just give me my money back. So I will be watching my account to make sure my money is put back into my account. She could have a least charged me half of what I paid to get a return customer.
