Mexican Inn - Fort Worth

My brother sister n law took me my husband there for my birthday and we really enjoyed the food and atmosphere. I had the chicken rice it was delicious, my husband had the beef enchiladas and he said they were very good. We really enjoyed thehomemade corn chips and salsa.

During a trip to Lake Worth, my uncle had a craving for Mexican food, so we decided to visit Mexican Inn. He greatly enjoyed the brisket enchiladas on his plate, noting that the meat was tender but could have been cut into smaller pieces for easier consumption. I opted for the tortilla soup, which unfortunately resembled canned chicken soup with added chile powder. The vegetables in the soup (carrots, celery, and onion) were overcooked to the point of being mushy, and the dish arrived without the promised avocado on top. To salvage the meal, I mashed up the late avocado, added salsa, and turned it into a makeshift guacamole to accompany my chips. Overall, the dining experience was disappointing.

Just disgusting, in the Industry for years and shocked this location is still even open. This is just the bar area. The kitchen is even worse. I 'd advice if you 're going during the day. Don 't get any garnishes. Every server in the building is serving yourfood, making drinks, using computers, touching money and making tortillas for each table then garnishing and topping all of yourfood amd plates without gloves They don 't use them there . Servers cut lemons on the trays they 're using to serve your food. Tea, water and ice buckets are filled prior to rushes and left uncovered placed under the service counter the back of kitchenarea.

I was not impressed. The food was bland and the chicken tasted like a frozen breast with no flavor. The best part was the chips and corn tortillas. I don't think it's a good place for a date and the prices aren't worth it.

I recently enjoyed another fantastic meal at one of my favorite restaurants! This time, we were lucky enough to have the owner, Robbie, as our server. Thank you, Robbie, for your attentive service and for always making our dining experience enjoyable. The nachos were absolutely amazing, the best I've ever had. My friend and I were grateful to escape the Texas heat and relax in the bar area with your friendly presence. Thank you again for a wonderful time!
