Bidra med feedbackI paid over $12 for a chef salad and the tomatoes were extremely mushy and tasted bad, making it difficult to enjoy the salad. When I returned the salad for a refund, the older woman handling the register was very rude and did not offer an apology. I was only able to receive a credit, not a cash refund.
I recently visited Don Hall's Factory for their prime rib and was extremely disappointed. The beef, potatoes, and au jus were all tasteless and of poor quality. I had to drown it all in horseradish sauce just to be able to eat it. Perhaps their sandwiches are better, but I must be honest and say that my experience with the prime rib was not good. I hate to leave a negative review, but it is necessary in this case.
My husband and I visited this hidden gem while in town for a dental appointment. We were drawn in by the rustic exterior of the building, thinking it might be a Southwestern barbecue restaurant. However, the inside was more upscale than we expected. We ordered the prime rib with au jus, which turned out to be a huge slice of prime rib roast on white bread soaked in au jus. It was not what we were expecting. However, our son's regular burger was a hit - it was thick, juicy, and filled with fresh veggies. The other dishes coming from the kitchen looked and smelled amazing, so I would recommend trying something different next time.
Service was fast. The restaurant was very clean and the food was ok. The dish sandwich was very good. Nice place to eat. One of the reasons I've always loved Halls restaurants was the French fries, but they are no longer the quality fries that they used to be. So unfortunate.
Personalized service. Wait staff knows you by name and what like to drink. More like family
