Rosa Mexicano - National Harbor

Eating was amazing! we chose to share the style of the food family and all agreed that the Mexican fried rice was bomb! the ambiente was great and we were in a nice room where the noise was minimal. I'm glad to break at least once!

The personal at the entrance was almost rude. I came at 07.45 for an 8PM reservation. the lady made a point to tell me that my table would only be done in time, she didn't even suggest I go to sit on the bar (it was very cold, easy to go outside) that eating was average. the interior of the restaurant does not seem clean, there is a water function not in use, the bathroom, safe were not clean. in short, not what I expected

We've enjoyed previous visits here, but today everything was gone. eating was not fresh or tasty. we love the guacamole, but today everything they could taste was the wobbles. the service was always spectacular, but today our server did not ask if we wanted to start. it took a long time to get our regular food order, but the restaurant was busy so we understand that the reason for it can be. but he never came around to order a second round drinks. fortunately, I believe that a manager gave us two drinks that were made and no longer needed, so that at least two of us got an additional drink. we celebrated a birthday and normally we order a few desserts to share because we are a big party, but our server never came to our order. the 7 of us therefore shared a tiny flan intended for the birthday guest. If this had been our first time here, we would not recommend it or go back. Hopefully it was only a bad day for the kitchen and our server today and if we decide to come back, the things will be better as they are in the rule.

Unfortunately, most of the guests felt sick the next morning, namely, intoxicated. The food that was served was luke warm which might me that it wasn't fully cooked. We came in 2 weeks ago and the food was great which had us come again. But on the second visit, we were disappointed with the food quality

Upon arrival, we were only given one lunch menu for the two of us. Our waitress was pleasant but absent for long periods of time. She forgot my tea when ordered but did remedy it when she returned. They did not have the dish I wanted because they ran out of duck the previous day, which was not a huge deal, but still disappointing. The chips and salsa were not as good as I recall from previous visits. Our meals were very good. We ordered churros for dessert when we ordered our meal. When we finished our entrees, we did not see our waitress for 45 minutes, nor did we receive our churros. We went searching for our waitress and could not find her. We eventually flagged her down to get the check and waited for another ten minutes to get it. The absent service caused us to pay an additional $10 in parking that was unnecessary. This time did not live up to previous experiences at Rosa Mexicano.
