Bidra med feedbackA beautiful multipurpose space that falls short with lack of serious leadership. The owner is a struggling alcoholic that thinks its okay to call his employess names like fatass
I used to enjoy the highlander a lot and would consider myself a regular. however, after finding out that the owner called one of his employees a “fatass,” along with other instances of unprofessionalism, I will be going elsewhere.
DO NOT BOOK THIS PLACE! We arrived for my niece's wedding reception to find no one to tell people where to go, no servers, no bartender, the ordered pasta and salad didn't show up until everyone had already been through the buffet and gotten pizza that my husband and I served because of no servers. The bathrooms had cob webs, overflowing trash cans and soap containers that had been nearly empty and water added. Totally unsanitary. They paid for the venue until 11:30 and planned for live music for an after party for the last hour. At 10:45 the owner made everyone leave. He also made the family and friends that were left clean up. He is refusing to give any refund for the services that were not received. I've never encountered such an unprofessional event venue! Completely disappointed!
I spent my Sunday afternoon perusing this lovely spot. A combination antique shop, coffee shop, and Bourbon bar. They also sell a wide selection of art from local artists. An excellent spot to wander. I also couldn't help but think this makes an excellent first date location, you can get drinks and look at merchandise as conversation starters to get over those early awkward jitters
The owner treats his employees like trash then screams curse words at them when they decide they’ve had enough. I’ve heard plenty of people complain about horrible customer service. I wouldn’t give good service if my boss treated me like that either. It’s a great concept but unfortunately poorly managed. Do better.
