This place is FSJ's hidden gem with their home cooked quality feels. I love that the chef actually comes out to see how the customers liked their dish when he can. The beef barely soup was hardy AF with beef and vegetable chunks you know didn't just come from a can (soup connoisseurs will know what I'm talking about). I recommend trying the featured sauce on any dish if they're serving one. This place has the highest culinary quality to dollar ratio in Fort St. John, hands down

We went out for supper and the food and service was awesome. The waitress was very attentive and the cook even came to our table to make sure we were happy. Will definitely be back!

I used to love IL Lagos, tonight for a 5th year anniversary we ordered calamari to start, a jambalaya on rice, with NO shrimp, and a shrimp and spinach Alfredo pasta. The calamari was undercooked, both meals were sent back as we didn't get what we ordered... and the second time the food came out the jambalaya was decent however the rice was undercooked, the shrimp and spinach Alfredo came out as a soup, not a pasta. Pretty disappointed. Looks like a bowl of cereal at home for my anniversary.

Service was excellent drinks were cold and delicious food was amazing I will definitely be back for more thanks alot until next time

In Ft. St. John for work, searched for a hotel with restaurant. I could not have done better than Il Lago! I ate here 3 nights and was impressed every time. Great service, home cooked meals, lovely ambience, lots of TV's for sports, and a fireplace! Treated like family every night. Highly recommended. Thanks guys!
